چکیده

We apply and the time-dependent Hartree ~TDH! method to the study of intramolecular dynamics in dimer systems. The HCl dimer is chosen as test case. Model calculations are performed on reduced dimensional representation of this system namely two-, three-, and four-dimensional ones. We assess the validity of different implementations of the TDH method including the account of direct correlations between coordinate pairs, and mixed quantum-classical and quantum-Gaussian wave packets treatments. The latter yields very good results compared to the fully quantal treatment. © 2000 American Institute of Physics. @S0021-9606~00!00524-9#

Computational study of the intramolecular proton transfer between 6-hydroxypicolinic acid tautomeric forms and intermolecular hydrogen bonding in their dimers

This paper is a density functional theory (DFT) calculation of intramolecular proton transfer (IPT) in 6-hydroxypicolinic acid (6HPA, 6-hydroxypyridine-2-carboxylic acid) tautomeric forms. The transition state for the enol-to-keto transition is reported in the gas phase and in four different solvents. The planar and non-planar dimer forms of 6HPA keto and enol, respectively, were also studied i...

A Systems Dynamics Model for Project Management systems of Project-Based Organization

It is obvious that the success of a project-based organization is dependent on its projects. A variety of tools such as the project excellence model, project management maturity models, the earned value method, have been developed in this regard, but there are still delays in projects because the projects have dynamic nature with non-linear relationships and feedback processes during the projec...

Dynamics of Macro–Nano Mechanical Systems; Fixed Interfacial Multiscale Method

The continuum based approaches don’t provide the correct physics in atomic scales. On the other hand, the molecular based approaches are limited by the length and simulated process time. As an attractive alternative, this paper proposes the Fixed Interfacial Multiscale Method (FIMM) for computationally and mathematically efficient modeling of solid structures. The approach is applicable to mult...

A social recommender system based on matrix factorization considering dynamics of user preferences

With the expansion of social networks, the use of recommender systems in these networks has attracted considerable attention. Recommender systems have become an important tool for alleviating the information that overload problem of users by providing personalized recommendations to a user who might like based on past preferences or observed behavior about one or various items. In these systems...

Time-dependent analysis of carrier density and potential energy in spherical centered defect InGaAs/AlGaAs quantum dot (SCDQD)

Interaction and correlation effects in quantum dots play a fundamental role in defining both their equilibrium and transport properties. Numerical methods are commonly employed to study such systems. In this paper we investigate the numerical calculation of quantum transport of electrons in spherical centered defect InGaAs/AlGaAs quantum dot (SCDQD). The simulation is based on the imaginary time...
